Thunderdelve is a cave system older than Branloch in the hills toward the Bladewind Mountains. Deran Hollowmantle describes it as a place miners learned to work around. The East Trail, a creek bed, and a split pine guide the company toward a ravine whose cave mouth carries cold air and traces of ancient heat.[1]

A place that answers

The cave’s crystals, distorted echoes, and pressure affect speech and spellwork. Vahrenai finds her fire dragged out of its normal response; the companions learn to treat familiar voices and unexplained invitations with caution.

The Shroud’s workings[1]

The company finds repeated experiments around an older crystal and a deeper active ritual using an orb. They disrupt the chant and take the orb under containment, but breaking the ritual does not remove the fracture or end the wrongness beyond the cave.
