B.K. McSherry

“The people we choose to stand beside can change the course of our lives.”

Brandon K. McSherry is a lifelong storyteller whose imagination grew up on fantasy novels, tabletop campaigns, anime, and late-night gaming sessions. His love of fantasy took root around a kitchen table with close friends, playing Dungeons & Dragons across maps stained with soda rings and scattered dice.

Those campaigns, R. A. Salvatore’s Drizzt Do’Urden stories, and the expansive world of World of Warcraft helped spark the creation of Sylas and Eldarûn—a world shaped by difficult choices, lasting friendships, and stubborn heroes.

A U.S. Navy veteran, husband, and father of four, Brandon brings an enduring interest in loyalty, courage, and the responsibility people carry for one another to his fiction. BONDS is the first book in the Sentinels of Flame trilogy.
