Eldergreen is a great forest whose living roots and currents matter to the journey in BONDS. The Allfather Oak lies deep within it. Traveling there requires attention to the land itself: an apparent path does not make the forest predictable or oblige it to welcome strangers.[1]

In BONDS[1]

A living landscape

The companions approach Eldergreen as a connected living system. Roots, water, animals, and magical pressure offer signs that must be understood together. Eryndor and the Green Regents bring the local knowledge needed to act with care.

Ael’Tharun and the feeder roots

The Allfather Oak holds feeder currents together near a deeper nexus. When parts of that living system are poisoned or drained, growth and paths change as the roots protect what can still carry cleanly. The Oak and the nexus are connected, distinct places.

Time bought, damage retained[2]

The companions and Green Regents interrupt the Shroud’s linked workings. Their repairs brace wounds and restore the lines’ ability to carry themselves, but do not return the forest to an untouched state. The rangers remain to guard the recovery and deal with surviving enemies.
